MODERN FARMHOUSE
This modern farmhouse property had beautiful proportions, natural light and stunning countryside views, but the interiors initially felt minimal and lacked warmth and personality.
The aim was to create a softer, more welcoming atmosphere that balanced relaxed contemporary living with subtle farmhouse influences, introducing colour, texture and layered details to make the space feel more comfortable and connected to its surroundings.
Inspired by boutique countryside retreats, the design focused on creating a home that feels calm, lived-in and easy to spend time in.

While bright and functional, the original living space felt visually sparse and lacked the warmth and layering needed to make it feel inviting and settled.
Inspiration
The design direction combined softer textures, warm natural finishes and relaxed tonal contrasts with carefully selected furnishings with a little global inspiration and styling details to create a more grounded and welcoming feel.
After
The finished space feels warmer, more balanced and far more connected to the surrounding landscape, bringing personality, comfort and a relaxed boutique feel to the home.
