RETREAT TO THE CAMPSIES
This contemporary woodland cabin had beautiful natural surroundings and strong architectural foundations, but the interiors initially felt minimal and lacked warmth and personality.
The aim was to create a calmer, more layered atmosphere that felt connected to the setting, balancing clean modern lines with softer textures, warmer tones and thoughtful styling details.
Inspired by boutique hospitality spaces and relaxed contemporary living, the design focused on creating a space that feels welcoming, comfortable and easy to spend time in.

Before
The original space was bright and functional, but felt visually cold and slightly disconnected from the warmth of the surrounding landscape.
Inspiration
The design direction introduced softer textures, earthy tones, layered fabrics and warmer finishes to create a more grounded and inviting atmosphere while still maintaining the simplicity of the architecture.
